LABORATORY TECHNICIAN WANTED – ZIMASCO
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE
- At least (five) 5 O” level passes including English Mathematics and Science
- A National Diploma in Metallurgical Assaying, a National Diploma in Chemistry or Applied Chemical Technology
- A minimum of 3 yeas post qualification experience in a mining or mineral processing environment (preferably in a metallurgical laboratory).
- Compiler literacy in Microsoft Office suite packages and an appreciation of an ERP system, such as SAP.
KEY PFRFORMANCE AREAS
- Assaying ore samples to generate accurate analytical data for the &Asian and key external customers
- Preparation of standards and stock solutions for use in titrimetric analysis
- Maintenance of laboratory quality as well as SHE standards
- Maintaining and control of stock-levels of all laboratory consumables
