LABORATORY TECHNICIAN WANTED – ZIMASCO

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE

At least (five) 5 O” level passes including English Mathematics and Science
A National Diploma in Metallurgical Assaying, a National Diploma in Chemistry or Applied Chemical Technology
A minimum of 3 yeas post qualification experience in a mining or mineral processing environment (preferably in a metallurgical laboratory).
Compiler literacy in Microsoft Office suite packages and an appreciation of an ERP system, such as SAP.

KEY PFRFORMANCE AREAS

Assaying ore samples to generate accurate analytical data for the &Asian and key external customers
Preparation of standards and stock solutions for use in titrimetric analysis
Maintenance of laboratory quality as well as SHE standards
Maintaining and control of stock-levels of all laboratory consumables
