IT Officer / Data Clerk: Friendship Bench

Contract: Fixed term (1 year) with possibility of extension on a 3 month probation

The IT officer will be responsible for monitoring and maintaining the data systems and networks of the Friendship Bench Program.

Key Responsibilities
Ongoing development of a long term IT strategy for FB; Ensure full availability of IT services; Data management and security systems; Regular update of the FB database; Technical support and advise to other members of staff; Supervise and support data collection, uploading and capturing using tablets; Troubleshoot systems and network problems, diagnosing and solving hardware or software faults

Key competencies
Computer networking and hardware; Computer Science; Computer software development and information technology

Experience and skills
2 year experience in the same field; Ability to think logically; Excellent listening and questioning skills and ability to interact confidently; Ability to work well in a team; Ability to prioritize workload; Attention to detail

Qualifications
Diploma in Computer Science or IT
