NetOne Cellular (Private) Limited seeks to recruit a highly motivated, outstanding and results oriented individual to fill the following position.

RESPONSIBILITY
I he incumbent shall be responsible to the Head IT Infrastructure and Application Support.

KEY JOB PURPOSE
To plan, manage, maintain, and control IT infrastructure design and implementation to achieve systems uptime, and protection of data.

PRINCIPAL JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Develops infrastructure roadmap to align with the organizations requirements and industry best practices;
2. Conducts Business Requirements Analysis of IT infrastructure;
3. Reviews appropriateness of technologies used for system components and recommends modifications and/or upgrades when necessary to keep systems operating according to defined service level agreements and operating level agreements;
4. Drives continuous improvement and introduction of IT ‘best practices’ into all areas of process, metrics, and performance;
5. Manages network infrastructure, servers, workstations and software;
6. Identifies and plans for future development and upgrades to the ICT infrastructure;
7. Designs and develops ICT-based administrative processes and procedures;
8. Leads in installation, configuration, and maintenance of all IT infrastructure;
9. Coordinates changes, such as system updates, patches, or configuration modifications;
10. Reviews architectures and protocols for Networks, Cloud, Data Center Infrastructure and Databases;
11. Monitors and tracks tickets on key metrics, such as ticket response and resolution times, backlog, and customer satisfaction;
12. Generates reports and dashboards that provide insights into ticket trends, team performance, and areas for improvement;
13. Enforces change management processes to ensure that changes to the IT infrastructure are properly evaluated, tested, and documented;
14. Develops Business Continuity Plan (BCP) that outlines the detailed recovery objectives, recovery time objectives (RTOs), recovery point objectives (RPOs), step-by-step procedures for restoring IT systems and services, and the roles and responsibilities of key personnel during the recovery process;
15. Reviews and updates the BCP to reflect changes in technology, business requirements, or regulatory compliance;
16. Conducts feasibility studies, assessing implementation costs, and evaluating the compatibility of new technologies with existing infrastructure;
17. Collaborates with compliance and audit teams to conduct regular assessments, address any findings, and maintain accurate documentation for audit purposes.

QUALIFICATION AND EXPERIENCE
⦁ First Degree Computer Science/IT/Telecommunication/Electronic Engineering or equivalent;
⦁ At least Four (4) years relevant working experience;
⦁ Virtualisation certifications;
⦁ Linux administration.

COMPETENCIES
⦁ Good communication skills;
⦁ Solid understanding of Advanced Networking routing protocols;
⦁ Ability to perform analysis and tuning;
⦁ Knowledgeable of Linux and Windows server administration;
⦁ Strong understanding of data centres and Cloud Architectures;
⦁ Project Management;
⦁ Knowledge of Cloud and Datacentres
⦁ Advance Networking courses;
⦁ Advanced network security courses.
