Network and Hardware administration.
Duties And Responsibilities
Network Management.
• Support Users on the network
• Ensure 100% network uptime/availability
• Network Configuration – for new and existing infrastructure.
• Network Upgrades – upgrade network with and optimize for performance.
• Install new network hardware and perform server upgrades.
• Network Monitoring – monitoring network performance and usage.
• Perform network tests to ensure that network is secure, from external and internal threats.
• Ensure that network meets industry standards, in reliability, speed and security.
• Designing and documenting the network.
• Network troubleshooting, problem identification and problem solving.
• Making sure everyone is connected to existing networks internally and externally.
Hardware
• Make sure all hardware on the network is performing well.
• Troubleshoot hardware problems.
• Resolve hardware problems either internally or externally.
• Monitor hardware to ensure full capacity performance.
• Install and configure all hardware devices.
• Maintain an up-to-date hardware/software register.
Qualifications And Experience
• Recent Graduate in an IT field.
• CISA Certificate is an added advantage.
• Demonstrated knowledge and experience with Hardware and Networking.
• Demonstrated knowledge of Linux, Windows Active Directory, CISCO.
• Ability to work in a dynamic and fast paced environment.
• Demonstrated ability to work effectively and efficiently within a team.
• Ability to analyse and report activities.
• An initiative individual with good work ethics.
