IT GOVERNANCE AND PROJECT SPECIALIST 12 views

Applications are invited from suitably qualified and experienced candidates to fill the position of IT Governance and Project Specialist within the Information Technology Department. Reporting to the Chief Information Officer (CIO), the incumbent will be responsible for driving IT governance, compliance, and strategic technology transformation initiatives across the Bank.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain IT and project management governance frameworks, policies and standards.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory, audit and internal governance requirements.
  • Coordinate and monitor IT and digital transformation projects, including ERP and core banking initiatives.
  • Manage project scope, timelines, budgets, quality and risks.
  • Prepare governance and project reports for Management and Board Committees.
  • Coordinate vendor and stakeholder engagements.
  • Support digital transformation and business process improvement initiatives.

Requirements

  • Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or a related field.
  • Certifications (e.g. PMP, PRINCE2, COBIT or CISA) will be an added advantage.
  • Minimum of five (5) years’ experience in IT governance and/or project management.
  • Experience in banking systems, ERP implementations and digital transformation projects.
  • Sound knowledge of IT governance, risk management and regulatory compliance.
