INTERNAL AUDITOR (TECHNICAL) x 1 (GRADE – C6)
Reporting to the Senior Internal Auditor, the job is responsible for the following:
Summary of Duties:

As part of an Audit team
• Participate in the formulation of Risk Based Internal Audit Plan and any subsequent
revisions thereon.

• Assess for adequacy and effectiveness the organization’s governance, risk
management and internal control systems as they pertain to the Technical/Core
business of the organisation.
• Objectively assess the company’s business processes and proffer value-adding
recommendations.
• Reviewing of ZCDC`s operations against strategic business plans for compliance,
adequacy and effectiveness.
• Performing ad-hoc requests and consulting engagements as assigned.
• Preparation of audit reports, communicating the findings and recommendations.
• Providing a supporting role to Financial and Information systems audits in order to
provide reasonable assurance that internal controls, governance structures and risk
management in those areas are effective and adequate.

Minimum Qualifications and Experience:

• Undergraduate degree from a recognised university / HND from the School of Mines
in Metallurgical Engineering/ Mining Engineering or Geology from a recognised
university.
• At least 3 years’ experience in a mining environment post qualification in the
respective field.
• Experience in Consultancy/Internal Audit or Quality Assurance (QA) is an advantage.
• Sound knowledge of SHEQ Management Systems.
