INFRASTRUCTURE AUDITOR – Zimbabwe National Water Authority (ZINWA)

The Zimbabwe National Water Authority (ZINWA) is inviting applications from suitably qualified, mature, honest and substantially experienced persons for appointment to the above challenging position which has arisen in the Organisation. The applicant will be based at Head Office, Harare.

RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Prepare a risk-based infrastructure audit plan and conduct technical audits of projects, and operations.
2. Assess the adequacy and effectiveness of governance, controls, risk management on infrastructure, maintenance projects and operations.

• Evaluate the efficiency, effectiveness, and economical use of resources on projects, operations and or programmes to achieve the strategic objectives.

1. Review infrastructure projects, operations, technical documents, contracts, payment certificates to ensure value for money and improve infrastructure and project management and service delivery.
2. Evaluate the integrity of infrastructure and assess compliance with laws, regulations and best practices on infrastructure and operations management.
3. Inspect and evaluate infrastructure projects and processes and make recommendations for improvement

PERSON SPECIFICATIONS

1. Degree / Diploma in Built Environment or a relevant project management professional certification
2. Clean Class 4 Driver’s Licence

• A minimum of two years post qualifying experience
