HUMAN RESOURCES ANALYST
Job Purpose
To provide up to date key HR Metrics through the preparation of timeous HR reporting and analytics necessary to discover and communicate critical HR insights for decision making in line with HR Strategy. To effectively manage the HR Information Systems databases to ensure accuracy and consistency in HR data. To coordinate the implementation of key Human Resources projects and related activities through the development of HR dashboards and trackers to ensure projects are delivered on time and at the right quality.
Qualifications and Experience
• 6 O’ Levels including English Language
• 2 Advanced Level passes.
• Bachelors Degree in Applied Mathematics or equivalent.
• IPMZ diploma/ Reward Management diploma will be an added advantage.
• 2 to 4 years’ experience in a similar or related environment.
Key Result Areas
• Consolidates annual HRP requirements from departments submitted by HR Business Partners for onward transmission to the Chief Human Resources Officer.
• Prepares all HR OPEX budgets and submits to the CHRO for review.
• Gather inputs from Human Resources Business Partners then analyse (sense-check), edit, consolidate and produce Weekly Operational report for the Human Resources function. Identify and follow-up any areas of concern the CHRO needs to focus on
• Compiles all Human Resources staff costs and Headcount statistical period reports for the EWZL group
• Tracks all key HR initiatives and action items from the CHRO’s monthly meetings
• Manage on-going performance and data integrity of the Oracle Human Resources Information Management System Database (OHRMS).
• Compiles a consolidated Electronic Management Toolkit data for EWPL, Econet Services, Steward Bank, Steward Health and MBC for submission to the service provider for remuneration benchmarking
• Partners with HR Heads in designing, reviewing and implementing policies, procedures and practices within functional area based on changes in laws, external HR practices and company culture.
• Requests Motor Vehicle funding from the Chief Finance Officer
• Develops and updates motor vehicle loan procedures
• Analyses market developments and recommends changes to the Housing policy in line with market developments and local legislation.
• Ensures accurate housing loan deductions for staff by conducting monthly payroll checks before deductions are processed in payroll.
• Receives housing scheme updates from financial institutions and recommends corrective action.
• Assists the Principal Officer in the effective Administration of the Pension fund
• In conjunction with Payroll team, assesses proposals from medical service providers and recommends for uptake by the business.
• Ensures the safekeeping of Employee personal files
• Manages the CHRO’s calendar on a daily basis and effect necessary updates where applicable.
• Coordinates the implementation of all HR related projects.
