Head of SEZ 2461 views

The Head of SEZ will ensure adherence to regulatory measures and incentives enacted in order to attract domestic and foreign investment, revenue generation, creation of jobs and international competitiveness.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Preparation and review of SEZ procedures
• Preparation of Management and Board reports
• Identify infrastructure development opportunities aligned to the SEZs initiatives and process all land use and development proposals for approval.
• Ensure that development, rezoning and subdivision applications and related applications are processed
• Provide technical input into the planning and design of all capital and major projects
• Oversee the construction of all major projects.
• Build key investor relationships, identify business opportunities, negotiate and complete deals and maintain extensive knowledge of current market conditions.
• Plan, organize, coordinate and implement investment outreach missions and road shows to promote SEZs as an ideal investment destination.
• Establish and manage an investment information management system as and prepare promotional material.
• Interpret regulations, policies governing investment promotion and provide advice to potential investors.
• Represent SEZs in various fora and liaise with stakeholders and potential Investors.
• Engage stakeholders in overall strategy formulation and ensure that SEZs strategies are aligned in order to safeguard against conflict of interests.

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE

• A Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Finance, Legal or related field
• Business qualification such as MBA / MSC
• Minimum 5 years’ experience at senior management level
• Experience in Market research and development
• Excellent negotiation, communication and analytical skills
