Applications are invited from suitably qualified and experienced persons to fill in the above
mentioned vacancy in the Town Clerk’s Department, City of Harare.

JOB PURPOSE

The position exists for the coordination of investment promotion and business development activities
in the City of Harare to enhance value creation.

KEY RESULT AREAS

 Investment Promotion
 Research and Business Development
 Business Venture incubation and management
 Management of Service Level Agreements with Council Strategic Business Units
 Core management of the City of Harare’s Investment Prospectus
 Establishment and nurturing of strategic smart partnerships that maximize value to Council
 Subordinate supervision and performance management

QUALIFICATIONS

 Degree in Economics/Finance/Business Studies from a reputable institution or equivalent
 MBA /MBL/Msc or equivalent is a must.
 Full member of a recognized professional body.
 Clean Class 4 Driver’s Licence is a must.

EXPERIENCE

 5-7 years relevant working experience with 2 years at the middle management level.
