Hardware Administrator

A newly opened Hardware is looking for an experienced, self-motivated and resourceful Hardware Administrator to join them ASAP and to be based in the outskirts of Harare.

 

Key Responsibilities

• Manage set up of Hardware shop and local distribution links
• Maintain contact and friendly relationships with suppliers and customers and build new client base
• Provide technical product advice where necessary and stay abreast of market developments
• Procurement and stock control
• Manages processes and procedures to ensure store operational standards to maximise profit and deliver excellent customer service

• Ensures all security systems are fully operational
• Ensures that all equipment is maintained in effective working order
• Provides feedback on the success of all branch activities
• Listens, confirms and responds to customer request for products and services
• Plans, directs, controls and evaluates merchandising activities
• Ensures that regular quality checks are conducted on merchandise

• Agricultural, Procurement, Operations and Marketing background/knowledge
• Must be able to work under pressure
• Must be a skilled communicator at all levels
• Must be a good decision maker
• Must possess leadership qualities to drive the team
• Must be a person of high integrity

 

Qualifications

• HND or Degree in Agribusiness / Business Management/ Sales and Marketing / Retail Management
• Hardware experience is an added advantage
