Duties and Responsibilities

•  Attends to all reported maintenance faults
• Maintains adequate stocks of maintenance consumables
• Reports ZESA and ZINWA faults as soon as possible
  Reports acts of theft and vandalism to management and security
• Maintains sewer ponds
• Ensures that gullies and drains are kept free from debris
• Repairs and maintains all electrical, plumbing, mechanical and carpentry installations of the Institute and staff residences
• Troubleshoots general maintenance problems
•  Prepare annual preventive maintenance plan for all facilities
•  General maintenance of the Institute
•  Supervision of subordinates

Qualifications and Experience

• 5 “0” Levels including Maths and English
• Class 4 driver’s license
• HND in electrical Engineering OR Mechanical Engineering OR Plumbing
• . At least 3 years’ experience in a similar position
• An all-rounder able to carry out general maintenance work
• Must be able to work independently and keep cl;ear and accurate details
• Must be able to discover and diagnose problems to do with maintenance
