Job Summary
Applications are invited from suitably qualified and experienced candidates to fill a Group Internal Auditor position which has arisen in a well-established organisation in the manufacturing Industry (FMCG).
Duties And Responsibilities
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
– Plans, supervises, and conducts operational, compliance and financial audits ensuring appropriate quality work is performed within stated time frames.
– Performs risk assessments and prepares the internal audit plans as needed.
– Drafts audit reports intended for senior management to identify solutions to problems, improve work processes and strengthen controls.
– Identifies and recommends potential areas for audits that may result in cost savings or improved profit potential.
– Coordinates and collaborates regularly with the external auditors ensuring adequate audit coverage and making use of each other’s work to the maximum extent possible
– Performs special Investigations assigned by the senior Management.
– Performs other auditing duties as directed.
Qualifications And Experience
Requirements:
– Bachelor degree in Accounting, Finance or related field.
– 3 – 5 years of experience obtained through a mix of public accounting and/or manufacturing industry audit experience.
– A relevant Audit professional qualification is an added advantage.
– At least 2 years of related supervisory/management experience
– Familiarity with manufacturing environment preferred.
– Should be aged between 30 – 45 years.
