Group Accountant

 

Our Client a Listed Entity in the FMCG Manufacturing and Distribution Sector is on the market for a Group Accountant. The ideal candidate will have between 3 – 5 years of experience in a similar role handling Group Accounts. Candidates with CA(Z), ACCA are encouraged to apply.

 

RESPONSIBILITIES

 

– Managing the corporate month-end accounting process

– Preparation of the monthly management reports

– Preparation of the Group consolidated financial statements

– Preparation of the financial statements and commentary

– Consolidation of the Group budget for the management reporting pack

– Preparation of the Board reporting pack

– Managing the monthly variance analysis and providing commentary on the financial performance

– Liaising with the External Auditors

– Preparation and lodgement of monthly corporate taxes

– Supervising junior accounting staff
