Key Responsibilities
- Support the procurement of construction materials, plant spares, fuel, lubricants, equipment, tools and consumables.
- Assist in supplier evaluation, vendor registration and supplier performance monitoring.
- Liaise with user departments to understand procurement requirements and ensure timely sourcing.
- Support inventory control, stock monitoring and replenishment activities.
- Monitor lead times and assist in mitigating supply chain disruptions.
- Support cost analysis, spend reporting and procurement reporting for management.
- Participate in supplier negotiations under supervision.
Requirements
- A Bachelor’s Degree in Procurement, Supply Chain Management, Purchasing & Supply Business Management or a related field.
- Understanding of procurement, inventory management and supply chain principles.
- Knowledge of sourcing construction materials, plant spares, fuel and engineering consumables will be an added advantage.
- Good analytical, negotiation and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel.
