Job Purpose

• To develop and drive the strategy of On Demand Services business in order to achieve the agreed product uptake, market penetration, customer retention, revenue and balance sheet growth targets in line with the business vision, mission, strategic goals and objectives.

Qualifications and Experience

• Commercial Degree or equivalent• A professional qualification is mandatory • An MBA will be an added advantage.• A minimum of 8 years’ experience in a similar or related environment with good expert knowledge of the industry.

Key Result Areas

• Participates in the strategic and business planning process and agree on long term strategic direction, goals and objectives of the On Demand Services business.• Develops short to medium term goals and objectives to penetrate the technology market riding on existing Cassava Smartech services and products offerings.• Oversees financial management and control of the Business budget through checking and monitoring the budget with relevant players, identifying variances and developing action plan to address these.• Develops and implements business initiatives that drive revenue and balance sheet growth. • Builds and monitors a business model that ensures the profitability of an On Demand Services platform and the protection of the organization’s financial interest.• Sets and drives the implementation of customer services standards that promote customer base growth and retention as well as develop strategies that minimizes customer churn.• Ensures that all regulatory and compliance requirements are adhered to at all times and that internal compliance standards are met.• Sets business performance standards in all operations areas, develop processes, monitors and updates to ensure compliance and put in place remedial actions.• Drives business development initiatives, build and maintain relationships with various key stakeholders, as well as maximizing networking opportunities and use every opportunity to build a positive image of the company in the market. • Prepare periodic operational reports for management and Board review • Liaises and lobbies with government regulatory bodies to foster a good business climate.• Develops and implements operational models in line with On Demand Services Business Plans• Defines and operationalises delivery against business targets and growth strategies for On Demand Services• Implements and rollouts business targets and growth strategies for On Demand Services• Interprets, discusses and communicates the operating plan for On Demand Services• Ensures the availability of Technites, Tasknites and Drivers/Partners in all roll out cities/regions in line with Business plan.• Oversees the On Demand Services and partners application, vetting and approval process• Formulates appropriate training programs for Service Providers to ensure cost effective and efficient delivery models. • Reviews the annual On Demand Services Operations budget and contribute to over business budget • Formulates relevant processes to support Operations in the discharge of their duties and management of Service Providers. (Installations processes, Quality Delivery and remedial processes for Technites)
