Executive Director: Local NGO

Location: Harare

The position of an Executive Director has risen in a local NGO, with the Head office in Harare and programs nationwide.

Key responsibilities
Ensure the implementation of: Planning, executing, monitoring and evaluation of running budgets to ensure the smooth and effective running of the CPS; Ensure the implementation of organisational policy and Board’s decisions to create a culture of efficiency, transparency and accountability in organisational governance; Mobilise resources innovately to ensure sustenance and continuity in organisation’s activities; Coordinate use of and allocate resources effectively; Report timeously and accurately to Board and key stakeholders for the efficient management of all resources; Implement organisational policy on recruitment, supervision and management of staff; Network with the organisation’s stakeholders, both nationally and internationally to ensure their involvement in organisation’s activities.

Qualifications
At least a Master’s degree in a Social Science discipline, preferably Social Work. A management qualification would be an added advantage.

Experience required
The ideal candidate to have at least 5 years’ experience in a similar position or managerial post in an NGO.
