Dorowa Minerals Limited, a member of the Chemplex Group of Companies seeks the services of mature. self motivated and experienced person to fill the above position that has arisen in the Engineering Department.
Reporting to the General Manager the successful candidate will be responsible for running the Engineering Department

The Job
• Ensuring that maintenance targets are met to achieve optimum operations performance.
• Leading the Engineering team in all aspects of people management.
• Ensuring effective Plant availability.
• Leading and monitoring a robust preventative maintenance system
• Ensuring that Plant and equipment conform to all legal requirements.
• Preparation of capital, operational and projects budgets and ensuring their implementation.

THE PERSON 
• A University degree from a recognised institution in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering or, equivalent.
• At least 5 years relevant experience in similar position preferably in the Mining industry
• A member of the Zimbabwe Institute of Engineers and/or any other professional body
• Knowledge IS09001, ISO 14001 and OHSAS 18001,
• Strong communication and Interpersonal skills.
