Digital Services Head

Major Activities of the Job

Develops and implements Digital Services Strategy for the business for all targeted and implements cutting edge Digital, Products and Services (IOT, Cloud, Al, etc)
Leads, Manages and monitors Research and Development arm as well as Digital transformation initiatives of the enterprise
Provides oversight for digital technologies capabilities throughout the life cycle creation and management of cycle creation and management of success metrics
Identifies new innovation opportunities to drive revenue, margin and profit growth.
Formulates effective new Ideas and Innovative strategies for product development, marketing, branding or business opportunities
Brainstorms with creative teams to discover new transformative solutions and approaches,
Recognizes promising ideas and find ways to Introduce them, into the company’s future plans and discards. Ideas that are ineffective, costly, or beyond the scope of the comp mission or abilities to develop.
Aligns digital and technical strategies In partnership with Infrastructure and Technological leadership.

Creates and Manage Collaborative forums to create Integrated view of digital agenda across organisation
Manages external partnerships contractors and third party technology vendors.
Defines key metrics, and outcomes for technology that align with TelOne’s business
Contributes towards promoting a digital culture within TelOne by coaching and advising, internal and external stakeholders on the use of digital services.
Creates a Digital Services approach with the appropriate processes, tools and metro support new growth opportunities.
Creates multi-disciplinary Digital services systems and solutions to support business growth strategies.
Builds strong relationships with technology vendors and develop first-to-market di services that aligns with team goals and company initiatives.

Qualifications/Experience

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science/ Eletronic Engineering/ Technology re,
MBA / MBL Degree is an added advantage
10 years’ experience in commercial activities of the business.
Familiar with VAS equipment’s and platform.
Familiar with telecommunication technology architecture.
Familiar with Software Development Languages.

Strong Digital Services knowledge and background in Software Development
Thought leader In his/her area.
Passion for innovation, technology and simplification.
Good understanding of financial & commercial aspects as well as the pillars in del Processes/Procedures, People/Organization, Tools/Systems
Experience developing VAS Platforms and products and services.
Good communication skills and strong customer — centric focus.
Be able to manage complex systems including Westerns integration across the enterprise
