This role will focus on assisting with day-to-day projects for digital content production not limited to graphic design, photography, videography for social media and other platforms.

WHAT THE INTERN WILL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR:

* Assist with shoots for web/social shows & clients
* Edit photos, videos, features, and social shows
* Produce motion and video infographics
* Log footage
* Equipment set-up and strike for studio and field production
* Craft social media video packages to engage fan base on Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Instagram Stories
* Generate creative and unrivalled video content for various platforms
* Makes decisions with little or no choice as to the methods and procedures used in achieving results.
* Digitise and Archive old media.
* Caption Videos for social media platforms
* Other duties as assigned.

WHAT WE NEED THE INTERN TO BE:

* Studying towards a Degree in Television/Film production, Media Studies, Broadcast Journalism, Communications,
and or related area of study
* Familiarity with Adobe Production Suite, especially InDesign, Premiere, After Effects & Photoshop
* Familiarity with the latest social trends and platforms.
* Strong organisational skills, time management skills and attention to detail required.
* Strong verbal and written communication skills with an emphasis on business writing skills.
* Ability to work independently without supervision, be self-directed and demonstrate initiative.
* Strong team synergy skills and ability to work collaboratively with others whom you have no direct authority over.
* Excellent ability to establish rapport with others and ability to build strong interpersonal relationships.
* Willingness to work a flexible schedule including nights and weekends and be on-call as necessary based on the
changing priorities of the department.
* Reliable transportation for off-site filming is required.
* Computer savvy
* Own computer a bonus
* A valid driver’s license a bonus

* Office Hours – M-F, 9:00 a.m.-3:00 p.m – (subject to change according to tasks)
* Working hours may include weekends and holidays
