Depot Managers – ZUPCO
The position reports to the Divisional Operations
SUMMARY OF DUTIES
- Preparation and attainment of revenue targets for the depot.
- Ensuring that depot budgets, operational procedures and regulations are adhered to.
- Organizing and controlling operations at the Depot.
- Management and supervision of Depot staff.
- Initiating route planning and analysis.
- Discipline and counseling of personnel at the depot.
- Liaising with the Engineering Foreman to ensure fleet availability.
- Liaising With Local Authorities and Resident Associations to maintain good working relations with the community.
- Submitting budget requirements for vehicle maintenance.
- Monitoring the level of services in Operational Minimizing overtime costs to acceptable levels.
- Ensuring sufficient and optimum vehicle availability.
- Ensuring prompt and effective repair of buses.
- Ensuring a clean, safe and pleasant working environment.
- Ensures that all statutory compliance requirements are met in terms Of C. O.Fs.
QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE
- Degree or Diploma in Business Management or Transport Logistics or any related equivalent qualification.
- At least five years relevant experience.
- Proven knowledge Of SAP ERP System is an added advantage.
- Must be highly proficient in Microsoft oFFICE Package[ Word , Excel & PowerPoint ]
