SUMMARY OF DUTIES

• Preparation and attainment of revenue targets for the depot.
• Ensuring that depot budgets, operational procedures and regulations are adhered to.
• Organizing and controlling operations at the Depot.
• Management and supervision of Depot staff.
• Initiating route planning and analysis.
• Discipline and counseling of personnel at the depot.
• Liaising with the Engineering Foreman to ensure fleet availability.
• Liaising With Local Authorities and Resident Associations to maintain good working relations with the community.
• Submitting budget requirements for vehicle maintenance.
• Monitoring the level of services in Operational Minimizing overtime costs to acceptable levels.
• Ensuring sufficient and optimum vehicle availability.
• Ensuring prompt and effective repair of buses.
• Ensuring a clean, safe and pleasant working environment.
• Ensures that all statutory compliance requirements are met in terms Of C. O.Fs.

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE

• Degree or Diploma in Business Management or Transport Logistics or any related equivalent qualification.
• At least five years relevant experience.
• Proven knowledge Of SAP ERP System is an added advantage.
• Must be highly proficient in Microsoft oFFICE Package[ Word , Excel & PowerPoint ]
