Data Capture Clerk
Main Duties and Responsibilities
The scope of responsibilities of the Data Capture Clerk includes opening and closing job cards, making requests for workshop staff, data capturing, compiling reports and maintaining workshops records.
Opening and closing job cards in FMS;
Maintaining and filing job cards;
Compiling daily, weekly and monthly management reports;
Maintaining fleet stats in FMS
Making cash requests for workshops i.e. breakdown, bus fare e.t.c.
Making spares requisitions through e-mail;
Making spares requisitions through e-mail;
Data capturing all daily workshop requisitions;
Ensuring that stores area is neat and presentable
Keeping and filing records;
Safe guarding company property;
Contribute for the continuous development of FMS modules to benefit and reduce wasted time;
Ensure FMS is used to its full functionality which allows for full control of the fleet at all times and full visibility and risk management;
Contribute with any innovative ideas or ways that may improve the operations and/or efficiency of the company and share/communicate it in a proper manner to management;
Ensure work area is clean at all times;
Educational Background and Experience
Academic Background: Degree/ Diploma in Business Studies;
Experience required (minimum/maximum): 2-5 years, preferably in Transports,
IT knowledge: good knowledge of Microsoft Office products (word; excel);
Age (minimum / maximum): 20-35;
Others: English – full command of the English language, both written and spoken;
Time availability: willingness to work nights and weekends as per workload.
