An international organization in the field of Agriculture is looking for a Data Capture Clerk

Position overview
The Data Clerk will be responsible for data capture and maintenance of key databases, activity tracking and general monitoring and evaluation support. We are looking for a young, vibrant, detail-oriented and organized individual who is computer proficient. The Data Clerk will report to the Monitoring and Evaluation Officer.

Duties and responsibilities
Data Entry: Accurately enters data through the available offline and online databases; Organizes files and ensures security of data; Compiles statistical reports for analysis; Daily analyses data for errors and report problems.

Required skills and attributes
Able to maintain confidentiality; Must be able to do data entries with optimal accuracy and speed; Knowledge of database software; Must be organized; Must manage self in time; Superior keyboarding skills are a must; A team player who works in order to achieve a common goal. Must be proficient in Shona/Ndebele and English

Qualifications and experience
Diploma in Social Sciences, Statistics, Information, Communication and Technology, M&E or Agriculture; Minimum one-year data entry experience; Computer literate, and proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Word, Microsoft PowerPoint, Outlook. MS Access and SPSS (or other statistical packages) an added advantage; Qualification in Advanced Excel will be an added advantage; Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
