Credit Officer – SME Lending (x2 Harare; x2 Bulawayo)
Duties And Responsibilities
Reporting to the National Sales Manager the essential duties and responsibilities of this role will include:
• Marketing and promoting the company’s products and services to both potential and existing clients
• Conducting assessments on clients’ ability and capacity to pay
• Developing relationships with clients and building client loyalty to ensure high client retention
• Monitoring and managing loan portfolio to ensure high portfolio quality
Qualifications And Experience
The ideal position holder should possess the following competencies, skills & experience:
• Degree in Commercials, Business Studies, Marketing, or related qualification
• At least 2 years’ experience in SME lending in a microfinance institution
• Analytical mind with a clear and demonstrable bias toward numbers
• Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills
• Dynamic individual who likes to work outdoors
• Detail and target oriented
• Capacity to work under pressure
