Applications are invited from suitably qualified experienced, self-motivated and task oriented individuals to fill the below posts that have arisen within our Catering Department.
Cooks x 2 posts ZSDA/C Grade 6

The incumbents will report to the Matron and will be responsible for:
• Budgeting menu items
Setting workstation with all needed ingredients and equipment
• Preparing ingredients to use in cooking
• Cooking food to specifications of the organization
• Cleaning food preparation areas as determined by law and company policy
• Making adjustments to food items to accommodate clients with allergies or specific diet concerns
Operating various kitchen appliances
Assisting in ordering ingredients as needed
• Assisting other cooks during the food assembly process
• Managing other employees in the kitchen
• Devising new recipes
• Cleaning up after business hours
• Keeping records of food portions issued for cooking

Minimum Education and experience requirements 
• 5’0′ Level’s a must including Maths and English language
• At least a National Certificate in professional cookery
• A Diploma is an added advantage
• Minimum of 2 years relevant experience
• Good communication skills
• Ability to work in a female environment and with minimum supervision
