Qualifications, Experience and Attributes
• A Degree in Law or any other relevant field.
• 4 years relevant experience in contracts administration.
• Membership of a recognized professional institution
• Strong experience in drafting agreements and legal correspondence
• Ability to interpret legal requirements.
• Project management experience and knowledge of EPC contracts
Key Responsibilities.
• Provides general contract administration and paralegal support for the project team
• Assists in analysing and interpreting legal documents to determine contractual rights and obligations: prepare contract abstracts for quick reference regarding business and financial terms.
• Maintains status reports of outstanding agreements, monitor contracts for future obligations, expiration dates and other contractual deadlines, and ensure timely and consistent follow through on all contract deal points.
• Drafts, reviews, and amends contracts, and related legal documents with the objective of ensuring compliance with regulatory laws.
• Provides timely contract status updates and/or assistance to commercial manager and Project Site Manager pertaining to contract amendments.
• Implements project specific contract procedures and work processes
• Administers contracts to ensure contractors comply with terms, maintain schedule and minimize growth
