VACANCY: COMPLIANCE OFFICER
Homelink Group which has Interests in financial services and property development suitably qualified and experienced individuals to fill the position of Compliance Offscar that has arisen within the organisation.
Reporting to the Managing Director, the position will be responsible for the following.
1. Monitoring compliance with laws, regulations and internal policies. 2. Investigating irregularities and non-compliance issues and report back to business functions on current risk and compliance performance. 3. Contributing to effective compliance controls within the organisation. 4. Assisting in the gathering of internal information In response to regulatory requests. 5. Collaborating with other departments to create a culture of compliance. 6. Understanding and keeping up to date with relevant laws and regulations. 7. Advising on company compliance with laws and regulations through detailed reports. 8. Regularly reviewing company procedures and practices and documentation to identity possible weaknesses and risks. 9. Educating employees on regulations, and their impact on the organisation in cases of non-compliance.
Education and Experience
Degree in Finance, Risk Management, Business Administration or related field. A professional qualification will be an added advantage. At least 2 years’ experience in a similar role in the Financial Services Sector Strong analytical capabilities and ability to manage several stakeholders Knowledge of regulatory and legislative policy as well as procedures for the financial sector.
