Duties And Responsibilities
Main Responsibilities
i. Ensuring effective coordination of resources to facilitate repair and maintenance of mine equipment.
ii. Carrying out central workshop machinery and equipment audits and overall inspections.
iii. Allocating duties to staff and monitors progress and quality.
iv. Assisting in the development and control of the departmental budget.
Qualifications And Experience
Minimum Requirements
• National certificate in fitting and turning or Boiler making.
• Class 1 journeyman.
• At least 5 years post apprenticeship experience in a mining or heavy industry environment.
• Knowledge and understanding of technical drawings.
• Knowledge of safety, health and environmental systems.
