Reports To General Manager Investigations

Duties And Responsibilities

• Managing and supervising all operations under the Investigations administrative on the Station up keep and cleanliness.
• Establishing and managing strategic and operational goals within the Section
• Providing initiatives for the receipt and fight against corruption
• Providing effective and efficient strategies and procedures for the receipt, recording of exhibits in the exhibit book and subsequent progressive movement and disposal of exhibits
• Liaising or interacting with other investigations Teams on all matters concerning exhibits and subsequent movements and disposal.
• Maintaining a record of all reported cases and compile a list that submitted to the Commission for discussion on the fate of each case
• Planning and preparing the Section operational budget for the Team and manage or control the Team’s expenditure.
• Preparing adjustment and implementation of the Investigations Standards and the Section Integrated Performance Agreement (SIPA)
• Supervising, appraising and providing professional advice to subordinates within the Administrative Section.

Qualifications, Experience And Attributes

• A bachelor in Business Administration, Police & Security Studies or a Social Science or degree, Higher Diploma in Business Management or Higher National Diploma in Business Studies, Diploma in Law, Police Studies or equivalent qualification
• Possession of legal or other relevant post graduate qualification would be an added advantage
• Must have served at Senior/Principal Investigations Officer or Officer-in-Charge or equivalent level in an Office responsible for fighting crime and corruption for at least five years.
• Must be highly professional, assertive and innovative
• Possess good negotiation and interpersonal skills
• High level of integrity
• Ability to work under pressure and handle confidential information.
