Welthungerhilfe (www.welthungerhilfe.de) is one of the largest and respected private organisations in the field of development cooperation and humanitarian aid in Germany. We carry out projects in 39 countries and campaigns for fairer cooperation with developing countries. We are looking for a suitable candidate to fill the Harare based position below. If you are prepared to dedicate yourself to carrying out projects under sometimes difficult conditions and you match the requirements set out below, we look forward to receiving your application.

Your most important duties:
Prepare payments to service providers and suppliers; Procure project materials according to Welthungerhilfe standards; Receipting, banking and cash book maintenance; Prepare monthly expenditure reports; Maintain asset register; Handling incoming and outgoing mail; Stationery control; General Administration duties

As a qualified applicant you will possess the following
University degree in Accounting, Finance or related field; Mature, excellent team player with good self-management practices; At least 3 years’ experience in a similar role in a Non-Governmental Organisation environment; Excellent communication, inter personal and ICT skills; Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
