ACCOUNTANT (FMCG Manufacturing, Harare)

Our client is well established and highly reputable in FMCG Manufacturing industry is looking for Accountant with at least 2-5 years in similar role and experience in preparing and consolidating financial reports.

Oversees the finance departmental processes.
Reviews the general ledger transactions and journals before posting by subordinates.
Reviews the trial balance and circulates detailed cost buckets to HODs for review.
Reviews statutory returns and ensure payments are done by the due date.
Prepares all tax computations monthly and QPDs.
Prepares financial reports and commentaries for the head office.
Assists in internal and external audits.
Assists in the preparation of budgets and forecasts.
Work accurately under pressure, meet set deadlines, produce and consolidate reports.
Excellent communication and analytical skills.
Knowledge of Pastel evolution/Excel/SAGE 1000.

REQUIREMENTS

Required qualification:

Accounting Degree
Must be available to start immediately.
Knowledge of Manufacturing background.
At least 2-5 years in similar role and experience in preparing and consolidating financial reports.
