ZimStat, officially the Zimbabwe National Statistics Agency, is the principal government body responsible for producing official statistics in Zimbabwe. Established under the Census and Statistics Act, the agency operates from its headquarters in Harare and coordinates data collection across all ten provinces of the country. ZimStat conducts national censuses, household surveys, and economic statistics that inform policy-making, development planning, and international reporting obligations.
