Qualifications and Experience
- Degree in Media and Communication or its equivalent;
- Additional qualifications in Social Sciences with International Relations (I.R) would be a huge advantage;
- Familiarity with IT and Microsoft Office Suite and some databases;
- Must have a developed capacity for design and desktop publishing (Canvas, Photoshop, etc);
- Must have technical familiarity with global systems such as UNESCO, UNICEF, OAU, SADC;
- Familiarity with multi-lateral agencies and
- Minimum of 1 year of exposure to working environment
Duties and Responsibilities
- Ability to handle and multi-task difficult chores and assignments;
- Ability to take notes and perform with efficiency any assigned duties;
- Fact-finding skills in scouting for strategic data/information;
- Monitor UNESCO Seminars/diarising the same for participation;
- Classifying correspondence and allowing for appropriate responses to be generated;
- Drafting statements as per work assignments and
- Front office role function for UNESCO Chair holder.
