Job Description
Reporting to the Mine manager, the Mine Supervisor shall be responsible for assisting the Mine Manger with overall supervision of open cast mining and drilling activities.

Duties and Responsibilities
– Supervising load and haul
– Supervising drilling operations
– Marking blast patterns
– Supervising blast charging
– Ensuring employee safety and adherence to safety procedures
– Driving the workforce to ensure improved productivity

Qualifications and Experience
– Degree in Mining or equivalent
– Valid Mine Blasting licence
– At least 5 years’ experience in open cast mining 2 of which must be at Supervisory level
– Traceable experience in drilling at Supervisory level
– A valid First Aid Certificate
