Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Branch Supervisor. The Branch Supervisor will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the branch, ensuring that all processes are followed, and providing a high level of customer service to clients. The Branch Supervisor will work closely with the Operations and Credit Manager to identify areas for improvement, lead staff members, and manage branch performance.
Duties and Responsibilities
· Administer overall business operations activities for the branch through developing efficient robust operation systems.
· Assess local market conditions and identify current and prospective sales opportunities.
· Reviewing and recommending loan applications to the Credit Committee.
· Creating and managing good relationship with all stakeholders
· Manage all loan cycle processes and determining work plan to achieve all business objectives.
· Attending to customer needs and queries
· Providing coaching, staff motivation, supervision, and training
· Adhere to high ethical standards and comply with all regulations/applicable laws.
Qualifications
Leadership and supervisory skills, with the ability to manage and motivate staff members
Excellent communication and customer service skills
Degree or Post Graduate Qualification in Banking related, finance and Management
5 plus years of experience in Banking, Microfinance Finance Sector inclusive of 1+ years in a similar role
Strong Credit Risk Management and Lending background
Proven branch management experience, in a similar role
Familiarity with industry’s rules and regulations
Excellent organizational skills
Results driven and customer focused.
Experience in a financial services setting, with knowledge of lending processes and regulations
Strong organizational and problem-solving skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other relevant software
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or related field
Experience in a supervisory role within a financial institution is a plus
Excellent time-management skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Willingness to work flexible hours and travel when necessary
The successful candidate will have a hands-on approach and will be committed to the expansion and success of the business by implementing strategies that increase productivity and enable sales targets achievement.
