Post A: (x1)
The ideal candidate should have a relevant Master’s degree in Travel and Recreation or equivalent and an undergraduate degree in Hospitality and Tourism or equivalent. Possession of a relevant PhD, experience in Tour Guiding, tour operations, IATA or ticketing and experience in culinary arts or professional cookery is a distinct advantage. The successful candidate would be required to teach the following undergraduate level modules:- Travel Agency and Tour Operations and E-Ticketing and Computer Packages.
Post B: (x1)
The ideal candidate should have a relevant Master’s degree in Hospitality and Tourism or equivalent and an undergraduate degree in Hospitality and Tourism or equivalent. Possession of a relevant PhD and catering experience is a distinct advantage. The successful candidate would be required to teach the following undergraduate level modules:- Catering in the Travel Industry and Tourism Planning and Development.
Post C: (x1)
The ideal candidate should have a relevant Master’s degree in Tourism or equivalent and an undergraduate degree in Hospitality and Tourism or equivalent. Possession of a relevant PhD and event industry experience is a distinct advantage. The successful candidate would be required to teach the following undergraduate level modules:- Event Conceptualization and Innovation and Event stagecraft.
Post D: (x1)
The ideal candidate should have a relevant Master’s and Undergraduate degree. Possession of a relevant PhD and experience in the theatre or event industry is a distinct advantage. The successful candidate would be required to teach the following undergraduate level modules:- Event lighting, Design and Technology and Event Venue Schematics and Design.
Post E: (x1)
The ideal candidate should have a relevant Master’s and undergraduate degree. Possession of a relevant PhD and proven experience in theatre sound engineering or event industry is a distinct advantage. The successful candidate would be required to teach the following undergraduate level modules:- Event Audio Visual Processing and Event Logistics and Production.
