Reporting to the Technical Sales Manager, responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Duties And Responsibilities
- Developing and implementing sales strategies to penetrate agribusiness market
- Training, performance management and motivation of sales team to meet targets
- Administration including compiling and analysing sales figures
- Collecting customer feedback and market research
- Advise on market information such as changing customer needs, queries, etc
- Leadership and development of the sales team
- Quality control of new business
- Establishing synergies in the agribusiness value chain by creating and managing relationships with stakeholders
Qualifications And Experience
- A qualification in Agriculture
- Minimum of 1 year experience in agribusiness working in private sector or government sector
- Ability to effectively communicate and interact with farmers
- In-depth knowledge in agriculture
- Good record of achieving targets
- Strong selling and managerial skills
- Be able to demonstrate self-confidence, maturity, and ability to work independently and deliver results without close supervision
- Should be aggressive, effective communicator, team player, sociable, versatile, resourceful, hardworking, and a self-starter
- Good presentation & interpersonal skills
