Reports to the Executive Officer Administration and Human Resources
Duties And Responsibilities
- Ensures that the Code of conduct is administered fairly and consistently (disciplinary and grievance handling procedures)
- Assists in the communication of policies and general employee related information.
- Ensures and facilitates training and development of employees and councillors.
- Provides Human Resources advisory services to the departments.
- Updates employee records.
- Asset management
- Administering the payroll
- Ensures that secretarial service to council and committee meetings is provided as required
- Ensures that all committee and council meetings records are kept and maintained
- Stores management
- Preparation and submission of monthly staff returns.
Qualifications And Experience
- A Social Sciences degree
- An IPMZ Diploma is a must
- Knowledge of Belina payroll is a must
- Good computer skills
- At least 2 years working experience in a public sector environment
