QUALIFICATIONS

Applicants should have:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or equivalent
  from a recognized university;
• A minimum of four (4) years of experience as a Web Developer;
• A strong hands-on software development experience using Java, PHP, C#, JavaScript, HTML5, CSS3, AngularJS, Bootstrap and jQuery;
• Knowledge of the following frameworks, PHP Laravel Framework and.
  NET framework;
• Experience with content management systems (such as WordPress, Drupal or Joomla) and source code revision control system (such as Git)
• Experience with all phases of Software Development Lifecycle, including system analysis, UI/UX design, coding, testing, debugging and documentation,Proven Web and Database Development experience;
• Strong database knowledge specifically SQL Server or MySQL;
• Familiarity with Agile development methodologies;
• Experience in graphics design is a must;
• Experience and knowledge of Web services development, RESTful APIs;
• Mobile applications will be an added advantage;
• Industry certifications will be an added advantage.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Designing and developing the Institute website;
• Managing the University’s website by keeping it current, fresh, informative,
  accurate, and engaging;
• Search Engine Optimization;
• Examining and analyzing site traffic;
• Identifying areas for modification in existing programs and subsequently
  developing these modifications;
• Maintaining and upgrading existing systems to ensure strong functionality and
  optimization;
• Integrating software components and third-party programs;
• Troubleshooting, debugging and upgrading existing software;
• Create technical documentation
