Key Responsibilities

• Ensure health, safety and environmental standards are maintained.
• Provides metallurgical expertise, monitors and evaluates the efficiency of processing plant, recommends improvements and optimizations.
• Mineral processing, extraction, and quality control.
• Compile daily, weekly, and monthly metallurgical reports.
• Conduct regular audits and inspection of metallurgical processes to ensure operational efficiency and adherence to agreed standards.
• Conduct basic metallurgical balances and recovery calculations.
• Ensure proper sampling, assay, and laboratory QA/QC procedures are in place and consistently followed.
• Develop and implement mineral processing and extraction plans.

Requirements

• Diploma in Metallurgy/Chemical Engineering or equivalent.
• Minimum 4 years experience in a mining environment.
