Hwange Colliery Company Limited Holdings (HCCL Holdings), a diversified mid-tier organisation with business interests in Mining, Agriculture, Energy, Medical Health, Real Estate, and Financial Services, invites applications from suitably qualified and experienced candidates for the position of Nurse Tutor under the Mining and Processing Company.

Key Responsibilities

  • Planning, preparing, and delivering lessons in line with approved curriculum requirements.
  • Monitoring, assessing, and reporting on student performance, including identifying learning gaps and recommending corrective interventions.
  • Maintaining and continuously updating subject matter expertise, incorporating innovative teaching methodologies and relevant technologies.
  • Ensuring achievement of agreed performance targets, including student pass rates, progression, and overall academic achievement.
  • Supporting academic administration and contributing to continuous improvement initiatives within the training institution.

Requirements

  • A mature individual above the age of 30, with a minimum of five (5) years’ relevant experience in the nursing education field.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision, as well as collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
  • Strong teaching, research, and administrative competencies.
  • Sound knowledge of IBMS Management Systems.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, communication, and interpersonal skills, with high levels of accuracy and attention to detail.
  • A clear criminal record.
  • Bachelor of Science in Nursing Education or Diploma in Nursing Education.
  • A post-basic qualification in Oncology Nursing will be an added advantage.
  • Must be registered with the Nurses Council of Zimbabwe and hold a valid current practising certificate.
