On behalf of the Ministry of Health and Child Care, the Tongogara Rural District Council is inviting applications from suitably qualified and experienced individuals to fill the following positions that have arisen in the Tongogara Rural District Council Rural Health Centres (RHC).
The Tongogara Rural District Council is seeking dedicated and hardworking individuals to fill the position of General Hand at our Rural Health Centres located in the Shurugwi Rural District.
Key Responsibilities
- Cleaning the wards, floors, roofs, windows, and walls.
- Emptying bins in the wards/departments twice daily or as necessary.
- Sweeping the hospital yard.
- Watering and maintaining flowers.
- Sluicing and disinfecting soiled linen.
- Cutting grass throughout the year.
- Keeping toilets and sluice rooms clean.
- Collecting cups and plates and sending them to the kitchen.
Requirements
- A minimum of 3 ‘O’ Level passes.
- Ability to communicate effectively with supervisors and staff.
- Capability to work with minimal supervision.
- Physical ability to perform tasks and maintain a clean environment.
- Applicants must be residents of the ward where the clinic is located.
- Must be honest, reliable, and hardworking.
- NB: Applicants must be residents of the ward where the Rural Health Centre is located.
