LEGAL OFFICER

Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly qualified and experienced Legal Officer to join our team. The successful candidate will provide legal support and advice to the bank’s business units, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and mitigating legal risks.
Key Responsibilities:

Provide legal advice and support to business units on banking and financial transactions, regulatory compliance, and risk management.

Draft, review, and negotiate contracts, agreements, and other legal documents.

Conduct legal research and analysis on banking and financial regulations, laws, and industry trends.

Collaborate with internal stakeholders to develop and implement policies and procedures.

Represent the bank in legal proceedings, disputes, and negotiations.

Develop and maintain relationships with external counsel, regulatory bodies, and industry associations.

Perform company secretarial duties for the Bank
Requirements:
-
Bachelor’s degree in law (LL. B) or CIS and Diploma in Legal studies

At least 3-5 years of experience as a legal officer in a bank or financial institution.

Strong knowledge of banking and financial regulations, laws, and industry trends.

Excellent drafting, negotiation, and communication skills.

Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
