We’re Hiring: HR Manager – Mining Sector
Location: Chegutu (Housing and transport provided)

Are you an experienced HR professional with a passion for driving people operations in a high-demand environment? Our client, a prominent mining company, is looking for an HR Manager to oversee a range of HR functions, including recruitment, payroll, industrial relations, and health & safety. Based in Chegutu, this is an exciting opportunity to make a direct impact on the growth and success of a dynamic company.
Key Responsibilities:

Manage recruitment, onboarding, retention, and employee development.

Ensure compliance with labour laws, certifications, and safety protocols.

Act as a liaison between management and employees, handling conflict resolution and union negotiations.

Oversee payroll administration, ensuring tax compliance and statutory contributions.

Advise senior leadership on talent acquisition, market trends, and employee retention.

Collaborate with Health & Safety teams to implement safety standards and workplace security.
Key Requirements:

Proven experience in HR, preferably in the mining or heavy industry sectors.

Strong knowledge of Zimbabwean labour laws and industry regulations.

Expertise in industrial relations and union negotiations.

Familiarity with payroll software and HR management systems.

Strong communication and leadership skills.

A Degree in HR Management, Industrial Psychology, or related field (or equivalent experience).
