Transport Supervisor (Head Hunters International)
Company: Head Hunters International.
Position: Transport Supervisor.
Principal Accountabilities (Summary): Manages daily transport operations, ensures vehicle maintenance/roadworthiness, monitors driver performance, implements SOPs, coordinates vehicle/driver allocation, monitors fuel usage, oversees licensing/insurance, maintains transport records, manages incidents, ensures compliance with H&S/environmental regulations, reviews transport costs, liaises with stakeholders, conducts inspections/audits, prepares reports, trains and develops staff.
Requirements:

Diploma or Degree in Transport and Logistics Management, Supply Chain Management, or Business Administration.

A valid Class 4/2 driver’s license (and Defensive Driving Certificate) is an added advantage.

Professional certification in Fleet or Logistics Management is an added advantage.

Minimum of 3-5 years of proven experience in transport or fleet supervision, preferably in a fast-moving or distribution environment.

Demonstrated experience in route planning, vehicle scheduling, and driver supervision.

Sound understanding of transport cost control, fleet maintenance, and logistics compliance.
