Sino-Zimbabwe Cement Company, a leading cement manufacturer situated 38 Km from Gweru in Midlands Province is looking for competent and experienced persons to fill the following positions.

 

 

SENIOR LABORATORY ADVISOR X 1

 

 

QUALIFICATIONS

 

 

• Degree in Chemistry / Chemical Engineering Technology or an equivalent qualification.

• 10-year hands on experience working in the cement industry.

• Ability to read and understand technical documentation is a prerequisite.

 

 

THE JOB

 

 

• Involves development and implementation of laboratory testing protocols and procedures to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements.

• Requires conducting of regular audits and inspections to ensure laboratory quality management system is maintained and improved.

• Entails collaboration with production and quality control teams to identify and resolve testing discrepancies and improve quality.

• Includes development and maintenance of technical documentation, including laboratory standard operating procedures, quality control records and test reports.

• Requires ability to interpret process diagrams and manuals in Mandarin.

• Entails the ability to relate Chinese process standards to other international standards.
