Applications are invited from suitably qualified and experienced persons to be considered for engagement in the following exciting positions that has arisen within the Institution.
Assistant Curator of Archaeology. (Gweru)
Reporting to the Regional Director.
Duties
- Conducting field surveys, record and participate in excavations.
- Analyzing Archaeology research data and compile reports on research activities.
- Supporting research documentation and conservation activities initiated at national level.
- Compiling exhibitions and present public lectures on research results.
- Documentation and conservation of archaeology collections.
- Publishing and presenting research findings.
- Designing and supervising the implementation of the documentation and conservation of the archaeological collections and The Museum.
Qualifications and Experience.
- B. A Honors degree in Archaeology.
- Two (2) years research experience.
- Computer literate.
- At least two publications.
- A clean class four drivers’ license.
