WORKS DEPARTMENT
(3) SENIOR ARCHITECT ASSISTANT – GRADE 8 (1 POST)
1. MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES/ JOB SUMMARY
-
Recommend construction plans to Architects
-
Prepare and develop layouts, elevations, cross sections in construction drawings.
-
Carry out dimensional surveys of buildings
-
Apply survey notes in architectural drawings with precise specifications
-
Use advanced software like CAD or ArchiCAD in preparing architectural plans
-
Implement architectural project drawings and plans
-
Maintain all architectural drawings, plans, client specifications and survey notes
-
Execute design processes and coordinate design information
2. QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS
A Diploma in Architectural Studies or equivalent
A clean Class 4 Driver’s Licence
3. EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS
-
At least 4 years’ experience in a similar work environment
