ROLE PROFILE
AFC Commercial Bank, a subsidiary of AFC Holdings seeks to recruit a Senior Customer Relationship Manager – Large & Medium Corporates. Reporting to the Head – Corporate and Institutional Banking, the successful candidate will be responsible for managing, developing, and expanding relationships with a portfolio of strategically important Large and Medium Corporate Clients. This role requires a strong focus on revenue growth, risk management and client satisfaction.
Duties and Responsibilities
Building and nurturing long-term partnerships with large and medium corporate clients, serving as their primary banking relationship partner.
Conducting comprehensive needs assessments to deliver tailored financial solutions that drive client success.
Proactively growing and pursuing new business opportunities within the large and medium corporate segment.
Developing and executing strategic sales plans that align with client objectives and Bank targets.
Driving growth in deposits, foreign exchange transactions, and cross-selling opportunities across the AFC Commercial Bank
ecosystem.
Sourcing and monitoring customers’ investments and credit facilities.
Conducting thorough risk assessments and preparing detailed credit appraisals for management approval.
Leading a team of Relationship Officers and Client Relationship Managers.
Job Skills & Competencies
Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to interact confidently with high net worth clients.
Value selling and negotiating expertise to close complex deals.
Strong financial analysis skills to assess client needs and structure appropriate solutions.
Unquestionable ethics and integrity, with a strong understanding of compliance and regulatory frameworks.
Qualifications and Experience
Degree in Banking/Finance/Economics/ Business Studies/ or equivalent.
A Masters Degree will be an added advantage.
A minimum of 5 years’ relevant experience with exposure to relationship management of large and medium scale corporates.
Expertise in portfolio management within the corporate banking sector.
