Delta Beverages is the name behind Lagers, Sparkling Beverages, Maheu and Sorghum Beer manufacturing, marketing and distribution in Zimbabwe. An exciting opportunity has arisen for ambitious and highly motivated individuals to join this vibrant enterprise.

 

 

The Job

 

Reporting to the Customer Services Manager, the successful applicant will be, among other key challenging aspects, be responsible for:

 

 

• Providing information on products, pricing, distribution, promotions other relevant information to customers.

• Generating orders efficiently via telephone as support for the sales force.

• Maintaining communication with sales force and providing an interface with distribution department.

• Maintaining a database of customer information, sales history, delivery information, credit status and any other relevant information (Account Development).

• Building and maintaining excellent customer relationships.

• Attending to customer enquiries and complaints by telephone and escalating issues, as necessary.

• Attending to information submitted pertaining to applications and requests and reporting back to the customers.

• Generating reports that assist Sales Representatives and Sales Managers in decision making and customer development.

 

 

The Person

 

The ideal candidate must have the following minimum qualifications and attributes:

 

 

• HND in Sales and Marketing or any other related qualification.

• At least 2 years Sales/Marketing experience in an FMCG environment.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

• Good knowledge of urban and rural markets.

• Be computer literate and knowledge of SAP is an added advantage.

• Well organised, thorough, and able to work under pressure.

• Working knowledge of Safety, Health, Environment and Quality Management Systems.
